Welcome To Reid's Bass Beginnings
Paraphrased From The Keys to the Kingdom:
"Wasn't it nice of God to make all the rivers and lakes with fish in them for us to catch"
Reid's Bass Beginnings (Bass Beginnings) was started to promote the sport of bass fishing for beginners. Reid has been a weekend bass fisherman in Southeastern Wisconsin since 1976 averaging about 21 days per year on the water. He has a degree in Biology and was an Environmental Manager for two large manufacturing firms for 30 years before his retirement in August 2008. His love for the sport of bass fishing and his desire to help beginners get started is why he started Bass Beginnings. If you would like to get started bass fishing or have started but are a little dismayed at all the gear and techniques, Bass Beginnings will help you catch fish just about every time you go fishing. In a few hours of training on the water and/or in the classroom, Reid can give you the confidence that you are doing the right things to catch fish...confidence results in success and...more success results in more confidence!
Southeastern Wisconsin has many small bass lakes an hour or less drive from the Racine area . So the opportunities are there ...all you need to know is how to take advantage of them. Click on "Seasons Catches" for a summary of Reid's Creel results from 2007 through the current year. I don't think that Kevin Van Dam, Larry Nixon or Spence Petros are too worried about Reid out fishing them but, as you can see by the creel summary, there are fish to be had and they are not far away.
